Happy B’Day Maamu .. Whats d plan?

Don’t know whether Sandu remembers this incident; there was this time when maamu kept receiving messages from an anonymous babe, and to all those who know maamu, and is restless interest in mystery solving found out who the babe was!
Which then brought “The 501 legends” to a restless state. Maamu, not in his own words, lacked the balls to go and meet the lady in person. So, Sandu and I volunteered to be with him, while he decided whether he’d want to meet the person again.

Venue – Baskin Robins – Banjara Hills

Maamu peeps into every auto that is carrying a non-male, and Sandu drooling all through out. Finally, we see a lady in saree get off a rickshaw and refuse to acknowledge us. Maamu, looks at her, and with all his heart wishes that she isn’t the lady. However, the soap bursts and we ask her whether she wanted to meet Ansar, and wooohooo, there she was.

The meeting went on smoothly at least for Sandu and me, where Maamu dropped some ice cream on her saree and tried wiping it off!

Having taken all the trouble, Maamu decides she isn’t the “Miss Right” he was searching for. Alas, what an end to the adventure.

Perhaps, this blog is used to commemorate the end of a year or a couple of years! However, reiterating the pattern of the last blog – Locations.

Ansar – Philadelphia
Geepee – UK (Somewhere near Leeds)
Praveen – Namma Bengaluru (Was in Texas till last month)
Ravi – Stuck in Swindon
Sandu – Dilli-? – always complaining it’s hot, but still singing for his Matakali
Vinay – Namma Bengaluru – Can some one call him up and find out if he is alive
Venki – London keeps him erect, just like it does the Big Ben!

Hyderabad Blues still happens whenever I think of Biryani. I still remember the first time I tried the Paradise wallah; thought I’d never try it again. Perhaps, thanks to Maamu and Raamu, the tastes were rubbed in after the regular Beer rounds!

Also recalling, something not to do with 501, while Maamu and I were living at Sikh village, neighbouring the wedding hall; I always wanted to go and gatecrash a wedding, but then was too shy and unaccompanied to do so. However, thinking of it now, I should have done it!!

Doesn’t it seems funny – “No pants day” .. celebrated on first friday of May.
I still don’t understand the reason. If someone can understand; please explain to me.

This a excerpt on Global warming documentary shown on discovery channel.

Global Warming has already embraced parts of the earth. Floods, Hurricanes, Drought areas are increasing when compared with the earth a century ago. From the past century the earth’s temperature has hardly increased by 1/2 a degree, and this was sufficient to kill Corals schools because of increase in sea water temparature, Hurricanes and Floods because of melting at polar regions, peoples burried under stones instead of loam / soil in drought areas. A mere half a degree raise in temperature can destruct so much, imagine a raise of 5 degree. Yes, this is going to happen by 2050 as scientist predict. The place where we live is dangerous in near future.

Is there any way we, mankind, can do something for this on top of our greed, comforts and luxury?
